100% cotton washed denim, dark blue, jeans

Classic denim has finally arrived!

Denim, or jeans fabric, is the historic fabric used to make classic "jeans" trousers. Thanks to its twill weave, it is particularly resistant.
“Raw” refers to the fact that they are unwashed, untreated, unsanded, unbleached – not everything!

Even though it has already been washed, I still recommend a few tips for the first wash: the washing machine can be a tight space for raw denim like this. Wrinkle marks and white creases are common damage to denim from spinning in the drum.
The best advice to avoid white creases and wrinkles is actually to not wash denim in the washing machine but to wash it only by soaking it in water for 30 minutes with a gentle detergent, then rinse 2-3 times before hanging it to dry (do not wring it out!)
If you decide to wash your denim in the washing machine for the first time :
- cut the fabric into smaller pieces before washing, it will help prevent white creases and wrinkles
- sink the fabric in water and let it soak, so it is wet when you put it in the washing machine
- choose a setting with a very low cycle or no spin
- do not leave it in the washing machine once finished, but take it out immediately and hang it to dry. do not wring it out and do not dry it in the dryer

It is possible that denim may lose some color during the first few washes and appear slightly lighter in tone!

This denim is made with SGS certified cotton, which is the equivalent certification to Oeko-tex but for denim!
